Official Terms and Conditions

Promotion Period: The TempStars Reactivation Promotion for Ontario Talent (the "Promotion") begins November 28, 2023 @ 6:00amET and continues until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on December 31, 2023 (the "Promotion Period").

Eligibility: Open exclusively to registered Dental Hygienists and Assistants in Ontario who are either newly registered with TempStars or have not submitted an offer in the past 90 days. Participants must complete at least one shift through TempStars during the Promotion Period. Eligibility requires an Active membership account status in Good Standing, adherence to TempStars policies, and no active disciplinary actions with dental licensing bodies. A shift cancellation rate below 10% is required. Employees of TempStars and their immediate family are excluded.

Registration for Payment: Participants must register for Stripe Express on the TempStars platform to receive the $50 incentive. This step is mandatory for disbursement.

Incentive Details: A one-time incentive of $50 will be provided to eligible participants who successfully complete one shift. It will be disbursed through Stripe Express after the completion of the shift.

Limitations and Restrictions: Limit of one incentive per participant. The promotion cannot be combined with other offers. Subject to shift availability.

Payment Terms: Incentive payments will be made through Stripe Express. Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes and must report income as per federal and provincial laws. TempStars is not liable for banking transfer delays. At no time are Personnel considered employees of TempStars, disbursements of promotional payouts does not constitute and employment relationship.

Dispute Resolution: Contact TempStars Member Support for disputes. Resolution aimed within 2-3 business days.

Data Privacy: Participant information will be handled as per TempStars' Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Modification of Promotion: TempStars reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion, with notice given through the platform or email.

Liability Release: Participants release TempStars and its affiliates from claims or liabilities arising from participation or incentive receipt.

Governing Law: Governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. By participating, individuals agree to these rules.

Emergency Situations: TempStars may alter operations during emergencies like natural disasters or medical crises. Post-emergency, operations will resume safely and swiftly.

Marketing Permissions: Participants consent to use of personal details for marketing. Individual consent required for each use of photographic images. Withdrawal of consent is possible.

Acknowledgement of Understanding: Participation signifies agreement to these terms, including modifications and additional terms.

Promotion Period: The TempStars Hygienist and Assistant Incentive Promotion (the "Promotion") begins immediately and continues until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on December 31, 2023 (the "Promotion Period").

Eligibility: This promotion is open exclusively to registered Dental Hygienists and Assistants in Ontario. To participate, individuals must be newly registered with TempStars and have not previously completed a shift through the TempStars platform OR a registered member with TempStars and have not previously completed a shift through the TempStars platform. Eligible participants must complete at least one shift through TempStars before the end of the Promotion Period. To be eligible, members must hold a "membership in good standing," defined as having a membership status of “Active”, “Pro” or “Elite”, adhering to all TempStars policies and procedures, and not being subject to any active or ongoing disciplinary actions with any dental licensing bodies. Additionally, members must have a "track record of consistent reliability," with a shift cancellation rate less than 10%, characterized by timely and complete fulfillment of scheduled shifts, positive feedback from dental offices, and adherence to state and provincial guidelines for operating a compliant Dental Office. Employees of TempStars, their immediate family members (defined as spouses, children, parents, and siblings), and anyone else directly associated with the company are excluded from participating.

Registration for Payment: Participants must register for Stripe Express through the TempStars platform to receive the promotional incentive. This is a free account used to transfer full incentive payments. to ensure payment can be sent, and provide disbursement of the full amount. It is a mandatory step for the disbursement of the $50 incentive. Failure to register for Stripe Express will result in forfeiture of the incentive.

Incentive Details: Eligible participants who successfully complete one shift during the Promotion Period will receive a one-time incentive of $50. This incentive will be processed and disbursed through Stripe Express after the completion of the shift.

Limitations and Restrictions: The incentive is limited to one per eligible Dental Hygienist or Assistant. The promotion cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Participation is subject to shift availability and may be limited by the needs of the dental offices.

Payment Terms: Upon verification of the completed shift and Stripe Express registration, the $50 incentive will be processed through the TempStars system and disbursed via Stripe Express. An active account with Stripe Express is required to receive payments. This is a free account used to transfer full incentive payments. Payment processing times may vary. The participant is not considered an employee of TempStars, and as such, TempStars does not make any tax or employment deductions or adjustments from any Incentives, and it falls solely on the responsibility of the participant to report and pay all related taxes according to their federal, state and local tax laws. Efforts will be made on behalf of TempStars accounting department to ensure payouts are sent on a bi-weekly basis. Any banking transfer delays may be additional. The participant is not considered and employee of TempStars, and as such, TempStars does not make any tax or employment deductions or adjustments from any Incentives, and it falls solely on the responsibility of the participant to report and pay all related taxes according to their federal, state and local tax laws.

Dispute Resolution: For any disputes or inquiries related to the promotion, participants are advised to contact TempStars Member Support at [support URL]. TempStars aims to address and resolve disputes within 2-3 business days.

Governing Law: The promotion is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. In such instances, TempStars reserves the right to alter, suspend, or terminate operations without prior notice to ensure the safety of all parties involved. TempStars will not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these terms due to Emergency Situations beyond its control. During emergencies, TempStars commits to keeping customers and partners informed through various communication channels, including email, social media, and its website. Post-emergency, TempStars aims to swiftly and safely resume normal operations, assessing the impact of the emergency and taking necessary actions to restore services and support affected parties. Customers are required to adhere to all emergency procedures and instructions issued by TempStars or relevant authorities to ensure collective safety. Additionally, TempStars may amend these terms in response to an Emergency Situation, with such amendments communicated to customers as efficiently as possible, tailored to the unique challenges of the emergency.

Marketing Permissions: By participating in the promotion, members consent to TempStars using their personal details, including names, success stories, and involvement in promotional activities, for marketing purposes. This consent extends to the utilization of these details in various promotional outputs aimed at enhancing TempStars' brand visibility and audience engagement. Additionally, participants agree to the potential use of their photographic images on TempStars’ social media platforms and other marketing materials, subject to explicit, individual consent for each use. This means that TempStars will request and require separate approval for each instance where a participant’s image is planned to be used, ensuring respect for participant privacy and image rights. Participants can withdraw this consent at any time by notifying TempStars in writing, although it is noted that previously circulated or published materials will not be retracted. TempStars is committed to adhering to stringent data protection laws and its own Privacy Policy, ensuring the safety and privacy of all participant data. This includes upholding the rights of participants to access, review, and correct their personal information held by TempStars.

Acknowledgement of Understanding: By participating in the promotion, members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these rules and regulations, including any modifications and additional terms.
