Are You A Dental Hygienist/Assistant?

Ignite your summer with our “Summer of Smiles” promotion at TempStars! Both dental hygienists and dental assistants across North America are invited to compete from July 1st to August 31st, 2024, by logging into our app and completing the most temping shifts.

This summer, the stakes are high with different rewards for top performers in Canada and the USA. In Canada, the leading hygienist and dental assistant will each earn a grand prize of $1,000. Meanwhile, in the USA, the top hygienist and dental assistant will each receive a $250 cash prize. Get ready to compete and win big with TempStars!

Terms & Conditions

Must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada to participate in this promotion.

Details: Shifts must be posted on or between July 1st and August 31st, 2024. Shifts can be posted for anytime up to August 31st, 2024.

Prizes: 

  • Grand Prize: The Office that posts the most shifts during the stated promotion dates, will receive a free lunch for their office.

  • Additional Prize: The Office that posts the most dental assistant shifts during the stated promotion dates will receive a cash prize of $300.

    Qualifiers:

  • The TempStars member (office) must hold an active, pro, or elite account status with no more than 5% of bad feedback for the shifts completed throughout the duration of the promotion and end date of the promotion in order to be eligible for any prizes listed above.

  • No purchase is required to participate in this promotion.

The winner of the promotion shall provide TempStars with photo images of the winner(s) and any physical winnings to be used on the social media accounts of TempStars. All persons captured in the image must provide consent to have their photo captured and released.

  • Grand Prize [CAN]: The TempStars members (1 hygienist and 1 dental assistant) in Canada that completes the most shifts during this time will receive a $1000 cash prize and be featured on the cover of Dr. James Younger’s DDS, Founder and CEO of TempStars e-book, ‘Ultimate Guide to Hygiene Temping and Professional Success!’

The winner of the promotion shall provide TempStars with photo images of the winner(s) and their winnings to be used on the social media accounts of TempStars. All persons captured in the image must provide consent to have their photo captured and released.

Qualifiers:

  • If an office cancels a booked shift, this will be counted as +0.5 shift.

  • If an office changes the hours of a booked shift that causes the shift to be unacceptable to the booked member, the shift is credited as +0.5 shift.

  • In the unlikely event a member arrives at an office to discover the infection control protocols or PPE supplies do not adhere to provincial guidelines and must leave as a result, this will be counted as +0.5 shift.

  • If a member cancels a shift for any reason, this is counted as -5.0 shifts (no exceptions, although a doctor’s note may be given consideration if provided).

  • If there’s a tie, then the prize goes to the one with the best reviews for those shifts.

Payment Terms:

  • The Grand Prize Winner will be issued a lump sum payment via Stripe Express within 30 days of the contest completion.

We’ll honor the rules fairly, but there may be some circumstances we didn’t anticipate when creating this contest and the rules. Therefore, ultimately judgment, modification(s), and/or cancellation of the winners and the application of the rules is final, being solely and exclusively at the sole discretion of TempStars.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, TempStars, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers (“Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Released Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the promotion; (b) any conduct or content of any third party related to the promotion; (c) any goods, services, or information purchased or obtained through the promotion; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall the aggregate liability of the Released Parties exceed the greater of one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100) or the amount you paid TempStars, if any, in the past six months for the services giving rise to the claim.

The limitations of this subsection shall apply to any theory of liability, whether based on warranty, contract, statute, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, and whether or not the Released Parties have been informed of the possibility of any such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed its essential purpose.
