Graduates from Georgian College’s Dental Hygiene program can now be recognized for their outstanding achievements thanks to Dr. James Younger, founder of TempStars. After being introduced to the faculty at Georgian College by a colleague, Dr. Younger proposed the idea of a graduation award in order to recognize one student who displayed exceptional work ethic during their studies.

The TempStars Award of Excellence was designed to reward professional excellence, commitment to patient care, clinical excellence and reliability.
“These are the qualities that set someone up to succeed in the dental profession, and we want to recognize students who display such qualities,” said Dr. Younger.
One recipient is chosen from each graduating Dental Hygiene class. The winning student must exemplify professionalism and dedication to the field of Dental Hygiene and is decided upon by faculty members at Georgian College.
